About SEA CHEF LTD

SEA CHEF LTD operates this website and online ordering system for one fish and chip shop at 8-10 St Lukes Rd, Hexham, NE46 2BB, United Kingdom.

Contact: seachefhexham@yahoo.com.

Website Use And Territory

  • This service is intended for UK customers only.
  • Ordering through this site is collection-only. No delivery service is offered.
  • Customers place orders as guests. We do not provide customer account dashboards for ordering.

Order Details And Customer Responsibility

You must provide accurate contact and collection details when ordering, including full name, email, and telephone number.

You are responsible for checking your basket, selected items, notes, and collection slot before placing your order.

Order Process And Payment Confirmation

Placing basket details starts the online checkout process. Your collection order is confirmed once Stripe confirms successful payment.

Staff may acknowledge a paid order internally so it can be printed and prepared. That acknowledgement is an operational step and is not a separate customer approval stage.

If a rare issue means we cannot fulfil a paid order, for example an item becomes unavailable or misuse/fraud is suspected, we will contact you and arrange an appropriate refund or resolution.

Prices, Descriptions, And Availability

  • Menu descriptions, prices, and availability can change without notice.
  • Product images are for illustration only.
  • Collection times shown online are estimates, not guarantees.

Payment

Online card payments are handled through Stripe hosted checkout. SEA CHEF LTD does not directly store your full card details on this website.

Stripe processes payment information under Stripe's own privacy and security terms.

Allergens And Food Safety

  • If you have allergies or intolerances, contact the shop directly before ordering.
  • Do not rely only on menu or website information for allergy decisions.
  • Food may be prepared in a kitchen that handles allergens.
  • You are responsible for clearly communicating allergy/dietary needs before placing your order.
  • The allergy notice checkbox in checkout does not replace direct allergy communication with the shop.

Order Notes

We will try to follow reasonable order notes, but requests are subject to availability, safety, and kitchen workflow.

Cancellations And Refunds

Orders cannot usually be cancelled once payment has been confirmed or once preparation has started.

If you do not collect your order, you will not be entitled to a refund.

Refunds may be considered where:

  • SEA CHEF LTD cannot fulfil a paid order.
  • There is a genuine issue with the order.

Abuse, Misuse, And Fraud

We may refuse service, reject orders, or cancel orders where abuse, threatening behavior, misuse of the service, or suspected fraud is identified.

Website Availability And Errors

We try to keep the website available and accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that all content will always be free from errors.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation.

Subject to that, SEA CHEF LTD is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from website use or ordering.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales unless applicable law says otherwise.
